Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board in Central Visayas (RTWPB-7) said yesterday that the Php18.00 wage increase is going to take effect starting today (September 1, 2010).
After the information was published last August 17 by Department of Labor and Employment in Central Visayas (DOLE-7), the said wage order took 15 days to effect.
However, various industries scrutinize the said order because of the current economic status.
